The Caliber LowPro GripGlides system is designed for Snowmobiles and ATVs to provide superior glide wear protection and grip for loading and unloading. It’s designed to accommodate snowmobiles with a large variety of ski stances. Here are some key benefits for our use of the Caliber GripGlides: If you plan to use your sled deck for snowmobiles that have different ski stances, set up the glides so the wider snowmobiles use the grooves 2nd furthest apart. This allows for snowmobiles with narrower ski widths to glide into the inside grooves.

Cody Hunt joins Dura Deck! He is out of Jackson Hole Wyoming. He’s just a small town kid with big dreams! Cody started snowmobiling when he was 4 years old. He got hooked immediately! He always wanted to ride and never wanted to see winter go away! Cody could live in a place that has snow year-round and be perfectly fine with it! When he’s not snowmobiling, he’s trying to do something to keep his thrills at ease! During the summers, he spends a lot of time on the lake wakeboarding. He also really enjoys dirt biking and downhill mountain biking. In all reality, Cody Hunt is just a person that likes to have a whole lot of fun!

Each sled deck is hand built right here in the United States. Our manufacturing facility is located just outside of Fargo, North Dakota. We have a specialized design and fabrication team that takes the raw materials, welds them, and manufacturers each sled deck. Thanks to our great dealers and snowmobile enthusiasts, we have a surplus of orders this season. We are burning daylight at both ends of the day to get these decks put together and out the door to you by the time the snow flies. At Dura Deck, we appreciate each and every one of you who run a Dura Deck sled deck. We strive every day to innovate and continually advance our deck designs to keep making your sled hauling experiences a dream.

The all new Dura Deck Track Extension provides additional length and support for your track when atop your sled deck. This track extension pivots to allow loading and unloading of your sled without having to remove the track extension itself. This is a one of a kind feature for any sled deck brand. Transceiver Checks with Caleb Kesterke

Caleb Kesterke does a transceiver check EVERY time he goes out and rides. A transceiver check includes the following: • Find a place away from conflicting transmitting devices. Stand in a half-circle, an arm’s length or more apart. The transceiver check-leader should be a few meters away in the middle of the group.• Turn transceivers on. As they power on, each individual checks that the transceiver runs a self-check and the display is ok. Note battery strength and report it aloud to the group.• Switch all transceivers to Search mode. Silence indicates that everyone is ready and ensures that no transmitting units are on dogs, sleds, or in packs.• The check-leader then switches to Transmit/Send. They check that each group member can receive a signal by walking toward each group member one by one. The group member reads their display out loud.• Turn all units to Transmit. The check-leader witnesses that each group member stows their unit for the day, secured under an outside layer, and 30 cm from cell phone or radio.• The check-leader returns to Search mode and confirms all group members are transmitting. The check-leader then switches to Transmit mode and confirms to at least one group member. They also verify that the check-leader’s device is stored under an outside later and 30cm from a cell phone or radio for the day.

Scott Eyer is the latest additional to our Dura Deck ambassador team. He is a backcountry shredder from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Scott is a member of a local group of riders that go by the name Coeur Freshies. This is a group of North Idaho backcountry snowmobilers chasing their passion day in day out either on the snow, in the mountains or working for it every day.
