Rob Alford joins Dura Deck sled decks!
Rob is a professional snowmobiler based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. He is an ambassador for Ski‑Doo, the snowmobile manufacturer, which means he is part of their team of riders that represent the brand and help promote backcountry snowmobiling. He started as a freeride skier and snowboarder. Rob then shifted his interest into “big‑mountain” snowmobiling, tackling steep terrain, and technical drops.
Who is Rob Alford?
Rob is considered one of the early riders who brought ski/snowboard style lines (steep, technical, alpine terrain) into snowmobiling. He’s appeared in well‑known snowmobiling video series (such as the Slednecks series) doing extreme terrain, cliffs, steep faces, and deep powder. On the off‑season, he also pursues commercial fishing, mountain biking, dirt‑biking — showing he’s an all‑around outdoor/adventure athlete.
